Ramakanta Lamichhane

His birth Place is Sainik Basti, Lekhnath Municipality, Kaski. Its a very beautiful place which is around 14 km east from one of the beautiful cities of Nepal, which is Pokhara.

Born to a middle class family but got a chance to study till higher secondary level in  english medium school. It may be because he was the youngest of his four siblings who got much love from the parents. But he experiences some tough times in the school during his childhood. Most of his friends from rich family background had neat, clean and nicely ironed dresses and shining black shoes with tight shocks up to below the knees. But he lacked such dashing gets-up. So, he stood on his knees in front of the assembly many times because of rough dress-up. His mother used to be busy in house hold works and father had to go to teach in a government school. To teach the son in english school was more important to the parents than to care about the son's dresses and stationaries. So he hated to stand in the assembly since his childhood. 

He loved sports and games since when he learned to play. The hot summer days would wait him to see him in the river with his friends. The eyes used to be red due to whole day swimming. Football, he chose for his best sport. Lean and thin was his structure during his childhood. Started to gain weight after he started  his higher secondary studies in Gandaki Boarding School, Lamachaur. He stayed in hostel and enjoyed a lot the two years stay at that school. His friends at that time were so funny, humorous, friendly and helpful. 

He could not  succeed to enlist his name in the list of successful candidates for MBBS entrance exams eventhough he tried several times and lost two years of his life in that process. Finally he compromised his fate as he got scholarship in Pokhara University for studying Pharmaceutical Sciences. This time also he found amusing friends in his class, and some were from very far places where he had never visited by then.  He could not suppress his passion for sports and took part in each and every sports. His participation in the welcome and farewell programs are the sweet things that he remembers when he reminiscences his college days at Pokhara University. He was fond of dancing and his friend Taraman would always support him for that. So, Taraman would be there whenever he was there in the stage.
